In addition to this Dr. Sahney demanded that the required members to form a FPO should be 100 instead of 300 then only this initiative will get success and FPOs should become Farmer Producer Companies (FPC) then only farmers will get the rightful share of their produce.
Dr. Sahney said in his speech that it is heartening to note that budget had the provision of 1.48 lakh crore for skilling and employment, 1 crore youth will be given internship in private companies but 5000 rupees stipend is very less and their job security after the internship is the key. Skilling should be linked with Jobs. “He himself have adopted 10 ITIs and setting up world class skill centre in Punjab to provide Skilling for Jobs to 10,000 youth in Punjab” Said Dr. Sahney
