As the Chairman of Sun International Ltd., he has masterfully steered a thriving business extending globally, encompassing regions such as India, Middle East, Africa, China, Europe, and Latin America.

The Group operates with a high degree of professionalism, leveraging modern management systems and holding accreditation under ISO standards.

He has fervently championed the ‘Make in India’ initiative, assuming leadership roles at prestigious forums such as BRICS, B20, Indo-Arab Forum, and SAARC in the past.

As Chair, BRICS Agri Business Forum, he actively engages in fostering collaboration among member nations, both domestically and internationally. Having presented observations and insights before the Heads of States of all BRICS Nations, his focus revolves around highlighting the pivotal role of agriculture in ensuring food security and fostering overall economic development. Dr. Sahney emphasizes agriculture as a key driver for employment-led growth and poverty alleviation.

As Chairman of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI), Dr. Vikramjit S. Sahney fostered capacity building and awareness throughout the SAARC region.

He is the member of the Steering Committee and National Executive Committee for FICCI, Senior Member and advisor to CII and ASSOCHAM Patron.

As the distinguished Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Paris-India),          Dr. Vikramjit S. Sahney advanced trade and investment. In this pivotal role, he spearheaded initiatives aimed at fostering open markets for goods and services, ensuring the unhindered flow of capital—a vision aligned with the ICC’s status as the ‘World Business Organisation.

As Co-Chair of the Commonwealth Business Club of India, Dr. Sahney dedicated substantial efforts to promote and support multilateral trade, business, and investment within the Commonwealth.

Dr. Sahney actively contributed to meaningful coordination and development in the IBSA (India, Brazil, South Africa) countries. As a proactive advocate, Dr. Sahney supported the promotion of Indo-South African trade, cultural, and social relations.
