Sun Foundation in partnership with DTTE (Dept. of Training and Technical Education) Govt. Delhi and PSDM (Punjab Skill development Mission), Govt. of Punjab run World Class Skill Centre at ITI Campus, Jail Road, New Delhi & Amritsar respectively.
These Skill centres, with international standards, impart world class certified skill based trainings free of charge. The modules are designed in consultation with Industry experts thus ensuring job placements and promising careers.

Special skill centre for training women inmates at Tihar Jail for manufacturing of sanitary napkins and sewing. The manufacturing unit also serves as a source of income for the participant inmates.
Training in mobile repair and LED bulb manufacturing is being provided under a special initiative for juvenile boys at Govt. Observation Home at Mathura.
Packaging training is being undertaken for residents of Krishna Kutir – Govt. Old Age home for women at Vrindavan
Surya Kiran was undertaken to empower rural women and young girls in remote parts of Haryana, Punjab and Delhi.
Most of these centres are in remote rural areas where women lacked infrastructure for learning and earning.
Surya Kiran centres have been able to make a mark with overwhelming support of the local villagers and gram panchayats. Over 10,000 women and girls have been empowered by the end of 2016 under this project.
ASHA KIRAN in association Indian Army where we impart free vocational training to differently abled. The trainings are conducted at Military Hospital, Delhi Cantt, New Delhi.
Taare Zameen Par (Disability Inclusion to work force) empowers the differently abled children and young adults by providing a platform for their economic self-reliance.
Sun Foundation has been running vocational training centers integrated with skill development for young adults with disabilities who can and want to work. The foundation through its project transmutes disability into ability. Currently, the Foundation is running this project in three centers in Delhi

Mr. Vikram Sahney single handedly sent 3 chartered flights on his own expense to Kabul to evacuate Afghani Hindu & Sikhs. He co-ordinated with various ministries like External Affairs, Home, Civil Aviation and Air Force for immediate evacuation of stranded in Afghanistan after Taliban took over the control in 2021 and continues his efforts to bring the remaining Hindus and Sikhs to India.
Last year he helped with repatriation of 17 students stranded at Turkey who had been duped by agents on false pretexts. It was his determined efforts which helped to trace the kids at a black site at who were stranded when the agent took away their documentation.
He is actively pursuing the cause to evacuate stranded Punjabi girls from Oman in coordination with Indian Embassy at Muscat. Sh. Sahney has offered to pay entire fine and compensation amount to the employers/sponsors towards their settlements and release of these girls for immediate evacuation of Punjabi girls who went either on pretext of Visit Visa and became illegal immigrants or went under Maid Employment Visa and were forced to abandon their jobs due to harassment and exploitation.”
